POSITION PURPOSE

The Healthcare recruiter handles everything from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees. Ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING

Experience/Education:

  • 3 years healthcare recruiting experience, specifically at the RN and/or NP provider level.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Other Qualifications:

  • History of problem solving success.
  • Ability to write and speak in a professional manner.
  • A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers.
  • Must be able to assume a flexible work schedule.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills in handling interactions with Palmetto Infusion staff, other agencies, groups, patients and families.

Technology Skills:

  • Competent in use of company email as means of communication, accessing the company website to view company policies and electronic medical records.
  • Competent in the use of company self-service payroll software (time and attendance, benefits, pay statements).

Language Skills

  • This position requires a knowledge of, and sensitivity to, cultural and language differences.

Mathematical Skills

  • Must have the ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

  • There are a number of deadlines associated with this position. The employee must also multi-task and interact with a wider variety of people on various and, at times, complicated issues.

Physical Demands

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the primary functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, talk and hear. There may be prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, reading, as well as driving or riding in transport vehicles. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors and staff.

Other Skills

  • Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consult with hiring managers and staff to identify and understand the needs of patients/customers and to provide the appropriate staffing solutions
  • Source and recruit candidates by using various sources, including internet, referrals, nursing schools, direct mail, virtual and live job fairs, databases, social media, etc.
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications against position requirements
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promote company's reputation as "best place to work" and serve as an ambassador for company's mission, vision, and values
  • Adhere to federal and state laws, relevant healthcare program requirements and company's business policies and Code of Conduct
  • Support and sustain company's commitment to compliance
  • Identify and communicate areas of risk and potential improvement opportunities
  • Recruit potential caregivers and clinical and operational administrative support
  • Facilitate the hiring process, which includes interviewing, screening and scheduling candidates with Hiring Managers
  • Demonstrates a high level of customer servce to employees and outside vendors. Answers questions and or concerns employees have promptly and in a professional manner

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the primary functions of this job. Normal office conditions exist, and the noise level in the work environment can vary from low to moderate. Limited overnight travel may be required from time to time.
